Default Check engine light

I have a 99 5.9 Ram 4x4 sport on my way home today the check engine light came on truck is running fine but just before it came on i heard a click click click that was simulatanious with the wheel turning could have been a stone or something in my tire cause it moved about the same way...now the engine light isnt connected to anything lower so why would it come on it runs fine, i did clean the o2 sensors the other day wonder if its that..anyone how do i reset the computer just unplug it from battery for a bit like i did my F-150 cause im telling you that im not going to go and pay 200.00 for thenm to clear a random code....any info helpful

If you go to autozone they can read your code for free and reset it for you.

How did you clean your O2 Sensors?
I have heard that it is impossible.
I might have to experiment with some brake cleaner next time I have to swap one out.
That could be the source of you CEL.

Unhooking the negative terminal for a few minutes will clear any trouble codes.
You can always use that time to clean the terminals.

I would pull the codes first though.
Many auto parts places will do that for free.

i just took both sensors out and used carb cleaner and a toothbrush soaked em for a bit and put them back in no problems for 2000 miles now, they do have little holes on them that the fluid can penetrate...
