Default Dead spot in the wheel.

Steering wheel that is. From about dead center to the left at a 2 and 8 position. I never really noticed it before because of the crappy tires. IU still have the crappy tires but they have since be rotated a bit.

I still have my vibration issue as well, but since I put the smaller tire back on it is not nearly as bad, now it only does it when I accelerate between 45 and 55 after that it is intermintent.

Could these two be related. BTW when vibration starts I can feel it in the steering wheel.

when you say dead spot, you mean when you turn the wheel, it isn't moving the tires?

Yeah, when I first bought the truck that spot it the wheel was where it had to be to go straight, after making sure the air was up to par. Also I do have a stock sized spare on the left rear.

I can pretty much move the wheel back and forth in that area and nothing will happen.
