horrible mpg
dunno.. i know alot of stuff has to come off like intake, i also know that hughes recomends also replacing the thermo stat, and some other things.. i know one guy in another post also said he replaced i think he said the water pump... i mean this is all over the top stuff to replace.. but its a good idea since you already have the intake and stuff off..
These trucks handle like crap as it is.

Well I mean, if I want to take some turns and have fun that's what the Corvette is for.
But for plowing, driving on the highway, and home depot runs I don't see the point in over sized off road tires. It's a truck meant for light duty work. The trucks handle horribly enough, I can't imagine towing the boat or the horse trailer with big mooshy tires having the truck swaying even worse on the highway, or not having enough power to go up hill loaded because the tires are too big for the gear ratio.
Then again, I'm not a 16 year old redneck. what can I say.

Sounds to me like you're a sixteen year old maturity wise, bring out the mud slinging like that.
That being said, I don't agree with overloading you gears either. I eventually plan on getting 285s or very slightly bigger, but I also have 3.92 gears on the way (in the mail as we speak) to help with that. However, it is his truck. If someone wants to put XX" tires on their stock gears, thats their choice. We can give them more crap if they complain about it later, though.
"I have a six inch lift with thirty eights, 3.55 gears. Dodge trucks are crap, I've had to replace my transmission twice, and I have no power and 4 MPG!"
Those are the fun ones.
