You went HID for reverse? wow, you really do love those things.
Like you said though, they would work better if you pointed them
up a little.

In reality, the ground would be much brighter, but I have them aimed up for a sort of "dual purpose" so to speak.
They are aimed up. All the light you see on the ground is the residual light put out from the housing.

As for my headlights, been there, done that. I DGAF anymore. I use a topical that removes the fog and leaves only discoloration. Probably for the better anyways. It cuts down on some of the light from my HID's. There are no aftermarket lenses that I like anyways.
