Hey guys, I'm picking up a 96 dodge ram 1500 from my father in law this weekend. Just wondering if the wheels from the newer dodges fit or what it takes to make them fit? What size tires are needed for 20" wheels on an 96 ram?

Also what about the interior, the seats are a little worn out and I would like to replace them with something else. If you replaced your seats what did you replace them with? Will the seats from the newer dodges fit?

Thanks for any help, I'm sure I will have a lot more questions.

Yes, as long as you get wheels from a half ton (5 on 5.5)
Look at what size tire came from the factory on the 20'' I personally
would not exceed 33'' tall or 11.5'' wide.

I'm not sure if they would be a direct fit but I'm sure its something
you could fab into place.

welcome to df, and yeah just watch how wide you go with the tires because they will rub when you fully turn.. also watch your height because you'll bottom them out on your wheel wells if you go to high... but yeah id go with skyline said... 33" and 11.5" wide

i have flowmaster y muffler on my truck.. the cat goes into the single port on the muffler which splits the flow into 2.. then brings it out the back.. it sounds good when i jump on it.. however i feel that its not really that loud ... like a cherry bomb extreme i heard they are really loud... but you could always go with a flowmaster 44 or a 40 or a 10 which is the race series.. i have the 44.

its all in what sound you like. there are many clips on you tube to check out.

and a magnaflow will out flow a flowmaster hands down. many places on the web that have proved this. although the magnaflow is not nearlly as loud as a flowmaster.and magnaflow will not rust out as quick as a flowmaster.these are not my opinions.these are facts.

heres my opinion,i like the magnaflow because it is not as loud and has a nice low rumble. i am not into letting people hear it 2 streets over. plus i like a nice quiet cab. i guess you can tell i am getting old. lol
