Wil this tranny fit?
Hi all,
I have a 1994 ram 1500 2x4, 5.2L, auto w/overdrive. I was wondering if a 545RFE tranny would fit in this truck? I need a rebuild with 152K and found a 545RFE with only 7K miles, for only 700 bucks. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Might be able to fit physically (aside from crossmember mounts, driveshaft length, etc.) but have you done any research on the computer side of it? your 94 is pre-OBDII, might have some issues getting it to work electronics wise. There are a number of Transmission experts on here, good luck!
