i have heard that it is a good idea to polish the exhaust port to prevent carbon buildup, but the intake should be left a little rough.

Squirrels, those intakes are definitely bigger. You'll need to contact Hemifever for an upgrade -- Version 2.02, lol

Here's a pic of my stock 1.92 CC for comparison purposes:

Our castings must come from the same source. I'm curious though: If these are new heads, why do you need to send your cores back? I never had to do that with mine.

I didn't have to send mine back either.

Stupid question but will these rust like the stock heads do? I'm thinking about painting mine so they don't. Haven't decided on that yet though

Yes, all cast iron will rust and very quickly. After I bolted mine on, I power washed everything and painted the engine with black Duplicolor engine paint, but I couldn't get to the back sides of the heads. My **** retentive side says I should have masked off the heads and painted the back sides before install, but you can't see that side anyway unless you're on your back looking up at the disty, lol. Paint still looks good though.

Ok thanks rex. I thought they would but they look so nice. I'm probably gonna paint mine before I put them on. Not sure what color I'm gonna go with for them yet

Thumbs up

Congrats aims! Hear nothing but good things about the 202 EQ heads. Also sold by Hughes as the heavy duty heads. Feel sorry for your tires
