a victim of evil
I haven't been on the forums recently. I've been fixing my truck. I was driving on the hiway and somebody threw a rock and hit my truck.

This picture shows the rocks. I think the one that hit me was about the size of a baseball due to the dent in the door frame. Of course I couldn't find the person who did it.

I started this thread to share some things I learned about replacing the windows. The rear/extended cab window has a latch that allows it to pop out in the back. So you can't just buy the window, you have to buy the complete assembly. It is easy to replace. Two screws on the hinge side and the latch side. Of course the door panel has to come off to get to the latch screws. The front window is easy to replace also. There are just two nuts that hold the bottom of the window to the track mechanism. After you remove the window from the mechanism, it initially seems like the window won't come out of the frame but it just takes some patience and wiggling. I have some more tips to add later.
