Wheel hub assembly ?
Can anyone help me?
I just replaced my driver side wheel hub and after i bolted everything back together there's still play in it like it shot. It will move the whole rotor and axle shaft. I replaced the passenger side hub a couple weeks ago and that's shot to but that is cause im stupid and installed it wrong.
I bought it lifted and everything. Its a 97 2500 4X4 with the 5.9 and dana 60's front and back. It has a 6 inch suspension lift and is sitting and 35 inch tires.
Can someone get me a picture and how the whole assembly is supposed to be in there and all the parts in front of it and behind it?

Im pretty sure its not the ball joints. They don't move when i do play with the tire. Just the rotor and the axle shaft wiggle.
Didn't use a torque wrench just used a regular wrench and tightened it as best as i could. I guess that could be an issue but the bolts don't move on the back of it just the rotor and the axle shaft.
Huh, I agree it sounds more like the ball joints are bad. The hub is a pretty straight forward install... bolt it back together and it should be good. You did get NEW hub bearings, correct? There should be no movement at all in it. And properly torque that hub/spindle nut down (175ft. lbs. on a half ton) or it will wear out quite quickly.
