steering box
My steering box is leaking by the output shaft. I want to replace it with a used one. Will the box from the 3/4 ton work as well? Will all 2nd gens interchange (all years)?

IIRC, it will fit, as long as it is also from a 4wd. But there is a light duty and heavy duty for the 2500. And I don't know what the difference is except for maybe the ratio. Or the size of the shafts.
