20x9 w/5.5bs should be good but I think your going to need to drop to a 40 or 45 profile tires or you will rub. 50 is about 31.25"dia, 45s at 30.1" & 40 at 29"
My 22x9.5 have 285/35/22 on them (29.85"tall/stk 29.9") 2x4 drop.

first indy i got too say,,that is one super sweet ram,,truly badass in every since of the word,,that is the exact same color i want mine, stripes and all..simply beautiful..

ok back to the subject at hand you think i should run a 40 or 45 series tire..kk gotcha..
while i got you,,or anyone else for that matter,,while ive essentially got all my suspension torn out lol,,when it comes to the front end,,is there any thing else i shld go ahead and replace whilst i have it torn apart??

also in my kit i was supposed to have another tranny cross member for the lowering aspect,,but it doesnt look like i got it as told...is thissomething really necessary or can the stocker still be used or modified as necessary?

The bolt pattern for a 1500 is 5 lugs 5.5 right? If not I'm so screwed!
