brake problems

Default brake problems

have a 99 ram 1500 both abs and brake lights are on in dash, checked the obivious , fluid level, shoes pads, , no noise ,no grindings, brakes work fine,any ideas as to why or what is causung this, thanks for all help in advance

One of the more commen problems here. What are your speedometer/odometer doing? It's not a brake problem ... the RWSS (top of the rear differential housing) or its wiring is probably shot.

Oh no, here we go again. Check fuses and relays, brake light switch on brake pedal, remove and clean the electrical connector to the RWSS. If that doesn't help, replace it. And please let us know the results.

Don't rule out the CAB ... also ... do you have ABS or RWAL?
