So I sold my red truck and bought a white one almost identical. I found it in Georgia. It is a 2000 1500 Quad Sport. 5.9L 4X4. Only difference between my old one is the color, its a sport model, got leather, overhead display, limited slip rear, and it only has 42,545 miles. I have already put 2 inch spacers in the front, skyjacker add a leafs rear. 18 inch KMC wheels with 35X12.50/18 Toyo Open Country M/Ts. Also added a Superchips 3815 tune, MSD 8.5mm wires, brass distributor and rotor, screaming demon coil, autolites, K&N F.I.P.K. And of course I switched the oil to Mobil 1 in the engine and rears. Put on a tonue cover and Kyb monomax shocks. Silverstar ultra 9004 and 9007 bulbs. I have a set of factory Chrome rims off my SLT Laramine with 305/70/16 BFG M/Ts and I just picked up a set of the Dodge offroad wheels. I am gonna go with 305/70/17 toyo open country A/Ts on those rims. The only this that I want to do to the truck still is tint the windows 20 percent. Its hard to make time to tint with 2 kids running around helpin daddy though Quick question though: OK so I put the 2 inch spacers in the front suspension, the 2 inch add a leafs in the rear. The rear of the truck now sits higher than the front by like an 1 3/4. I used the same stuff that I used on my other 2000 Ram and that one sat level. Do the sports have different leaf spring...they looked the same. So what could I do to raise the front about an inch and a half more? Without of course changing out the factory spring or buying a sway bar relocation kit, drop spindle and so on. Thanks guys. Well I cant seem to get the pics on the post.
