98 dodge 1500 replaced fuel pump

Default 98 dodge 1500 replaced fuel pump

we replaced the fuel pump the thing went out the other day, we got it all done and now we arent getting fire at the plugs or cap. when the truck stopped the O/D off light came on, the low fuel gauge came on and it had 20 gal in it and the trip meter is blinking, what could be the problem? he has the 318

well we just replaced the camshaft position sensor and still no luck, i told a friend at a shop and he said the computer could have gone bad, any thoughts?

Ok, dumb question, but have to ask it: Did you reset your PCM by disconnecting the battery negative cable?

Have you checked your Automatic Shut Down (ASD) Relay circuit? There is a 10A fuse (F9) in dash fuse box that will keep the ASD relay deenergized and in turn, keep the ignition coil primary circuit dead if it's blown.

one of the guys took of the coil wire and all and it didnt even shock him even one of the plug wires it will sit there and crank and crank but nothing else, we had also checked all the fuses before, ill have to recheck them tommorrow and the relay ill go locate them on my truck right now and look for them on his tommorrow

did you check the crank sensor or cam sensor it tells the vechice to fire
