I own a 1998 ram sport 1500, in my last post I told you guys how my tire fell off on the highway at 70mph back in october. Well the trucks been fixed, but lately I notice if the truck/weather is cold out the truck handles real funny on the highway almost like its loose, but after I drive it for 5-10 minutes it handles fine. On the other hand after being on the highway for a 3 hour trip the other day towards the end it started to sway within the lane almost like a real windy day. I'm not familiar with these trucks but it doesnt seem like a tie rod end or ball joint since its only under those conditions and not all the time?

 

Check the track bar if its a 4x4 or the pitman arm if its 2wd. Maybe gear box.

 

My truck does that to, i think the problem is the steering box.
