Wink Hey aim4squirrles are you out there

Hey Aim what's the name of this bigger cat you mentioned to another member. He said you referred to it as a 99xxx cat. You have any additional info on it? Thanks!

The cat's gonna depend on the exhaust system.

Some have a 2 smaller pipes coming dual in / single out of the cat. If that's the case, you gotta know the pipe diameter going in and out before you order.

Others have a large single in / single out cat. I've seen this in 2 1/2" and 3" si/so configurations.

gotta know your pipe sizes before you order. My suggestion is just get it from a muffler shop, that way they can take care of any recall/warranty work behind it.

Hey Aim thanks for getting back to me. My truck has the dual 2 in pipes on the inlet side and a single 2.5 in outlet with the pre-cat O2 sensor on the cat itself. I have installed a straight 3 in pipe between the cat and the tail pipes with the O2 sensor in it as well. Hopefully this helps. Like the other gentleman I was getting ready to purchase the Magna Flow brand cat until I read his thread.
