Yeah, I've seen those at the axle shop that did my gears.

Basically they attach to the driveshaft and have metal plugs (they call them "Fuses") that will sheer just before the driveshaft would torque and break. Not sure I'm pushing that many ponies though.

Definitely follow-up with a write-up and pictures. I'm getting more and more leery about driving my Dodge and have kicked it up full speed working on the VW.

speaking of VW, my pop just bought a 74 i think, VW beetle for parts, we're either gonna put the front end, and other random parts from it in the sand rail, or build the bug into a sand machine

I was reading the instructions to this kit. I am a little confused on the TV pressure sensitivity. What is a good combination of shims and spring type to use.
