So I thought while I had the old pan off I should put a deep pan on? How many people have them and where did you get them from. Oh i'm going to be putting a new gasket on. Any help in finding any of the part would be nice and how hard is it to do? I don't do very much work on my truck.

I have a PML pan. 2 quart extra capacity, aluminum with cooling fins on it, plus it has a magnetic drain plug and a temp sending unit port. It's a good investment. Deep pan is a double edge sword though. The extra fluid makes it harder for the fluid in the pan to get hot as hot fluid is mixing in the pan with the cooler fluid, but if you do overheat, it takes longer to cool down for the same reason.

Something that's always annoyed me ... both gage and gauge are acceptable spellings of the same item. "Gage" always seemed lazy.

Yeah quite honestly before I did that little correction thing, I looked up the spelling. Thats weird how both work. But either way, at least to me, "gage" just seems funny.
haha! Sorry work was long and some guy wanted to kick my a$$ and I told him to have at it and he didn't.
