I have driven it like 20 miles sense, tomorrow morning Im gonna do an oil change and Coolant change in case theres any Debris of some kind. I just put water in it yesterday so I can flush it out. I wish I had one of thoughs machines that actually replaces it while its running. that would be the best...

any other thoughts?
Well done .., you are an inspiration.

Lol, it's hard to keep them down on the farm once they've seen Paris! Congratulations for having the courage to make that repair on your own -- good job!

I have a question, that I'm sure, has been beaten to DEATH. I searched some threads, not all, but here it goes. Looking down threw the throttle body, should the belly pan be bone dry on the inside? I noticed a thin film of oil when I was inspecting it and I'm assuming I have to replace it. Also, if this is of any relevance, my oil pressure gauge us to ALWAYS be on 40 psi. Dead on, it wouldn't even flinch. But now, for the past 9 months it will be a little bit higher at idle (about 45 or so) but when my foots on the gas it'll go back to 40. My trucks been in the family since '99 and we service it with great care. Thanks in advance for the heads up everyone!

So far no leaks of any kind, and my oil has no coolant in in!

Heres my motor taken apart

Keep your oil changed at regular intervals and you'll have no problems. My lifter gallery was all sludged up, prompting me to do a complete bottom-up rebuild. You should be pleased yours look so good.

If u really wanted to flush the coolant side of ur block , just take out a freeze out plug, I get them out using a flat blade screw driver at a angle , hammer it in , and pop it out. Run water through , itll get out built up **** between cylanders , then just pop a new one in by using a big socket and a hammer. Just use some gasket sealer on the very sides and hammer in straight. keep going till it sits JUST a little resseded past the block. Very simple and can be done with all the room on the side. All u really need is one from each side. Just a thought.
