ok i want/ need to put new rings in my truck, anyone know where i can get them online?

i tried summit and they didnt have my year, they only had up to 96.

jegs only had the 360,

jcwhitney i couldnt find them.

anyone know?

Think there's any difference internally between a 96 318 and a 98?

well i was just going to ask, is there a differance in the 96 to 98 bores on a 318, other then the comp they are the same right? meaning obd1 or obd2...

and i didnt even think to go to the napa or advanced around here...

Not sure you should do rings without boring the block. Usually if the rings go, it's time for a rebuild. I suppose you could get lucky and the rings be the only problem. Heck of a lot of work to just replace the rings and not freshen up the whole block.

You can't get the pistons out without reaming the ridge. You can't re-ring without a hone ... if you're gonna do all that, might as well go the full monte and punch it out.
