not yet I am going to though just to make sure this all work right.
I just ordered the grill yesterday, and I guess fedex strapped a rocket on that grills *** because it arrived this morning.

Have a pretty large section of the old grill sanded down and ready for primer so it will become the practice junker.

These pics were before the sanding.
EDIT: If anyone is interested in doing this, I will post a DIY after I am done with it.

It got above 60 today, so I finished sanding the edges, and got the promoter and the primer on there.

With Primer: Ended up shooting three coats on there just to be safe.

I am going to wait until tomorrow to shoot the color on there just in case the primer is still a little wet underneath the coats.

No, the old one came off. I just pry it out with my bare hands(if that tells you anything about Pinegar Chevrolet.)

For the emblem on mine I pried the old one off. It came off super easy. I think I used a knife or screwdriver to get behind it but I didn't have to pry hardly at all. For putting it back on I used silicone as that's what I had and it's held fine for probably a year or so maybe slightly more. However, 3m makes some emblem adhesive stuff that I now have and plan to use next time. I have a spare emblem from a spare grille incase I need it but mine is sticking fine with the silicone.

Nah, just plan on leaving them black. Got the color on yesterday, but left it to cure over night. I have noticed that it is not a complete match, but its close enough. I did kinda jack the emblem up putting it back in, but I think there is some plastic polish laying around here somewhere that I will try on it.
