i went to electric fans a couple years ago, and i think that the truck revs much easier now. i also went to underdrive pulleys and a new PCM at the same time, so the actual gain of the fans is unknown.
anybody have or like a flex fan. i was pondering getting on to replace the clutch fan. i kno flex fans are nowhere near as good as elec fans but they do flatten out at high rpms and require less force to turn than the stock.
i used one on the mirada for a while...its a very very cooling running 340, and in traffic with the flexfans, it got a little warmer than it does with the electric fans.
i was thinkin about a flex fan, but guys on here said that it wouldnt be uch of an improvement......also you gotta make sure and get a reverse rotation one for serpentine belts
