Default I finally installed headers

I don't know if any of you remeber me but, I bought long tube headers back around the time that 01dodge360 installed his. I just finally installed mine and only ran into a few hiccups. The first being that my truck is an 01 with california emissions wich makes it a little rare and and a pain in the but. It has 4 O2 sensors. I dissconected the two rear ones since they aren't needed. As far as the front I had to get an O2 bung welded in the one side. We pulled out the old manifolds wich came out fairly easy. We only broke one bolt. The bolt ended up being long enough that we could just put a nut on it and tighten it down. Before we installed the headers I striped off all of the coating that came on them and painted them a brushed alluminum color. After getting the headers in I tried to install the O2 sensors wich at the part store were supposed to be for an 01 california emmisions truck put low and behold dodge in their infinite wisdom bestowed upon me O2 sensors with connectors for an 02. So I went back to the store and the sensors for an 02 dodge are more expensive then an 01 and they are not carried in stock. So since they probably wern't long enough anyways I bought two universal so that I could lengthen the O2 sensors. After everything was instsalled and fighting the muffler back on I ended up with a very loud cool sounding truck. The truck is way to loud put I thinks it because of the three huge holes in the y-pipe that I had to put in it to get the exhaust pipe into it. I'm taking it to a welder tomarrow to have it patched and everything welded together.

Know heres the question that maybe 01dodge360 can help answer. My catlitic converters have gone missing..... Now when I first start the truck it smells really rich. I'm assuming this is because the truck is in warmup mode and there aren't any catylitic converters to clean out the left over gas. Does anyone else have this problem? It dosn't bother me if it's normal but, because of the universal O2 sensors I'm a little nervouse. Anyways thanks for the input.

Oh an for anyone wondering about the paint on them. I used the flame proof high heat paint and it has peeled at all.
