Better? Ha! I would be willing to bet that the BFG is not only a much better performing tire, but that it also would last about twice as long... and I am not a betting man by any means.
When the temperatures get around zero or below, that helps the engine start easier in the morning. Easier on the starter, easier on the battery, easier on the engine. Living in Michigan, you should know that!
I guess its not as cold as living in Minnesota or the Dakotas, but you should still know that...

Yeah, I didnt pay any attention to where he lived. It gets pretty dam cold here, but not THAT cold. If it hits 10 or 20 below, its typically only at night and only for a few days. FAWK that stuffs!
Well for 488.00 buck I can buy the almost same thing I have a friend he has the bfg he hates them he was try to jack my truck up and take my tires off. my general have a 60,000 tread life so they say. whats bfg?
Probably right around there.
Let us know how they last. I am curious... they definently a much cheaper tire (price wise).
-104F....
I've got a hard time believing that.. The coldest temp ever recorded on earth was -129, but that was in the middle of Siberia.
