Default still shakes after tires balanced

aside from tire balance being out of wack, what could cause shaking at highway speeds? My tires have been balanced and from roughly 60 (more noticible at 65+) to anywhere higher i get a shake in my truck where it feels like my tires are out of balance. could there be anything in the front end that could be worn out or wearing out that could cause this shake? any other theories? and the highways are smooth for the record...

A clump of mud on any rotating assembly. A chunk of ANYTHING on any rotating assembly.

You sure it's a shake (up and down) and not a shimmy (side to side)?

yeah if it's a side to side thing then your ball joints are probably shot. happend to me. the slightest turn and my whole front end would shake and i'd have to slow way down.

could be the trackbar. I dont think my truck has one of those since it's 2wd though.

I have the same shake i already have a new track bar, but havent had my tires re-balanced. Could be a defective tire?

yeah I think it might have something to do with my track bar because I do have some scalloped tires on the inside which i've been told is associated with the trackbar. Also, now that it has been mentioned, when i bought my tires, after a few weeks i took it back in to be rebalanced because of the shaking and they told me i had a slipped belt or something or other. So maybe thats my problem or an accessory to my problem. when i get new tires soon i'll see if that cures it or helps it. and no theres no mud or anything in the wheels
