Got my baby back =]
I'm assuming that filter will fit on my truck; the filter i have is #1085.
and i dont think im gonna do anything too fancy with paint. Probably just gonna bomb it for now. as i get cash i'll buy new panels and pain them up nice, then do the rest of the truck.
And pics as promised; it doesnt look too bad =P

about $1200 with the used parts, it woulda been about $2500 with new panels and paint. should have just gone the new route, but im thinkin customization is in order. so just whatever it took to get her back on the road.
F*** it. im just gonna pick up some paint code matched green from Advance Auto and bomb it. When i get settled in my new place i'll redo the entire body. replace, fill, weld, whatever it takes. Make her look how she did in December '97 (birthday). But something just so i dont stick out like a sore thumb. . Eventually a billet grille, cowl induction hood, you know what im gettin at =]
