Default Shift Firmness

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum, so I thought I would see if what you guys have up your sleeves. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram Sport 5.2L. Heres the deal, my first and second gear shifts are kinda sloppy and not very consistent. I know it's not slipping, its just sluggish sometimes when it shifts. Is there any aftermarket parts that can cure this ?

I adjusted my transmission TV cable and my truck shifts better and shifts firmer than before. I moved my TV cable 1/8" back (toward firewall) and it increased my shift point rpm's about 200-300 rpms and the engine does not struggle as much between shifts now.
