Awww man that shouldnt drive you up the wall. Everyone else might be thinking you did a little more upgrading and bolted up a supercharger. hehe

i replaced my tensioner pulley and it didn't change anything lol. still makin that same retarded sound. i checked the other pulley's and the only one i found that had any slack or movement was the power steering pulley and i don't know if it's supposed to be there or not. it moves in and out on a "shaft" i'm guessin. but besides that nothing has slack in it. and suggestions?? only thing else i can think of is it might be the water pump it's self. is that possible?

Does your old belt whine? You could try throwing it back on and see if the noise goes away. What brand did you buy? I've had the best luck w/ quiet operation and longevity w/ Goodyear Gatorbacks.
My power steering pulley moves in and out a little but doesn't have any rotational play-- it doesn't leak and doesn't whine. I was told it was normal (by the stealer).

Mine does the same thing...and, I actually had someone ask me if I had a supercharger...lol

That was enough right there for me not to do anything about it
