Default 97 Ram 1500, 5.9, 4x4, Codes P300, P302, and P305

A friend of mine has a ram, a few months ago it was having this problem, it could be driving fine, then all of a sudden back firing and running bad enough that the truck has no power, so he would stop, sit for a few minutes, try starting it, no start, try again a little bit later then it starts, but once you get it into gear or try revving it up, its just back firing, so first thought was probably a intermittent fuel pump problem because it only did it sometimes, ( 180k) stock fuel pump, so we pressure test the pump no pressure, we replace it and no more problems ( until now)

Hes an off roader and the problem started again yesterday, we have done Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and still has the same problem, what else could it be???

Coil, Cat, plug wires getting wet and arcing. There is a TSB for SP routing, http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1998/18-48-98/18-48-98-v8.htm. And depending on the quality of the pump you got for a replacement, it is not out of the question it is defective already.

Those trouble codes are for misfires, which could be related to misrouted plug wires. You should have tried to determine the reason for backfiring rather that just haphazardly replacing parts. I wonder if the fuel rail is clogged with debris (which isn't uncommon) or a couple of the injectors have plugged inlets. Another problem with misfires is the cam sensor, which is located in the distributor. It could have dirty contacts, which will result in random misfires.
