wow this got dethreaded real quick! lol!

Hey I remember someone saying the coil springs are higher on the diesels...is this the same for the V10 (8 liters...I think)?

I am asking because my local whecking shop has coil springs for a 1998 9.0 liters truck. Only $25 each spring so $50 total...sounds like a deal, but if the springs are the same for my V8 5.9L then I can pass.

Please let me know, I want to lift my front just a little, thanks.

I don't mind the ride being stiffer just want to increase the front about 1"+ and then add a leaf to the back to lvl up a little.

Actually I am remember a thread with olyelr on this before...he said he put a V10 Coil Springs in front...it lifted it 3 inches so he put 2 addleafs in the back. He didn't have to change any other stock equipment except he opted to out new shocks in I think.
