Default EGR valve
where is my egr valve the haynes manual says it is on the right side of motor beside distributor I can not see it or feel it back there anywhere is it possible that there is none on mine 1997 ram 5.9L 2wd

It could be that you don't have one. I have a 97 factory built without an egr. More people will chime in with the specs.

I believe 96 was the last year to have EGR.
