Default speed sensor gear teeth

Question for all.

I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 on which I'm running 315/75/r16 tires.

The stock tires should have been 225/75/r16 as what it's called on the door sticker.

If I wanted to replace my speed sensor with another one with more teeth on it, how many teeth should their be to get the correct speed?

Is there a formula for doing this?, I know there are some speed sensors that they sell with different amount of teeth.

My truck's speed is measured by this speed sensor located on the t-case, I know this because it failed once and had to replace it.

Please advice, any help is appreciated.

You'll need a gear with fewer teeth ... not more ... fewer teeth spins faster driving your speedometer up
