Default major hub issue update!

so this morning i finally decided to put the truck on a jack and tear down. heres what i discovered. after pulling the rotor caliper hub nut etc off.. i discovered i had play in the hub. i took out the 3 12 point bolts slid the hub off.. and laid it on the work bench. i grabbed the studs and still had play. i checked the front drive shaft.. spun free but not loose.. checked the u joints up front. solid. spun the axle n checked for play.. spins freely. no play. slid the axle out to be sure. spline shafts on both ends perfectly ok. no sheered teeth. slid the axle back in. pulled the dust washer off the bearings discovered as i feared.. a sh*tload of red clay. took the old hub down to the friendly auto zone got a new one.. checked for play in the new one.. solid. tomorrow going to slap her back together and we should be a ok. and hell.. new hub with bearing assembly.. with 3 month warranty.. 116.99.. not bad. (oh i went with the dynapak setup).

For your sake, I hope it fails in the first 3 months so you can go back and get an American made hub...
