if the coil manufacturer is asking what wb your truck is, they will know all the different possibilities, i would call them and say your not sure, but you got 118", they will be able to figure it out. you would only be off by a couple of inches, if any.

it won't be that hard if you have a coil compressor

btw, motortrend says the wheelbase for a 2000 dodge ram short bed with reg cab is 3015 mm, so that is actually close to your measurement

You'll have to pull the shocks. I've taken them out without a compressor (by hanging the axle) but it is easier with one.

Im going to see if i can rent or borrow a compressor from my work and just get one from the wreakers because they want $102 - $107 for a new pair so i should be able to pick 1 because that is all i need and it will be a fraction of the cost. I love going to the wreakers!!!

Short box regular cab dodges have a wheelbase of 119".

As far as changing coil springs, just remove the shocks, unbolt the sway bar from the frame, and then jack the front of the frame up until the axle droops enough for the coils to fall out.

Well sheit the bed, now that I look at his signature it DOES look like a 2x4.

Oops, disregard my last post. I don't know anything about the 2 wheelers.
