i have a 1998 5.2l ram that has the following on the computer on the passenger side:

S/N 11B6857PHPMC
Chrysler P/N P56046
Module S/N TEM0348PHPMC 000000

 

if thats the only sticker on the pcm, then you probably dont. There would be another sticker on the pcm with hand written information and "authorized factory update" on it. Look for that update sticker on the radiator support at the front of the truck as well.
