i am going to be regearing my truck i have a friend that will be doing the labor but i need to have all the parts ready
my truck is a 96 ram 1500 i have dana 44 in front and 3.55 gears
i am going to be going with 4.56 gears so i will need to order the ring and pinion for front and rear and what else?
i have a limited slip in the rear end right now will i be able to reuse it with my new gears it is not even a year old
i also plan to put a locker in the front end does the locker take care of the carrier or do i need to upgrade to different carrier???
where is a good place to order gears from?

 

also i have heard i can order thick gears and not have to change the carrier but i was wondering if they are as good or strong or what is suggested?

 

For 4.56, you'll need a new carrier. You can only go up to 4.10
