My tranny is slipping. I changed my filter and gasket and the kicking stoped. But continues to slip. Ive been told its my 2nd gear band needs to be tightend . If i hit the pedal to make it drop one gear it dosnt slip. but if i punch it all the way to the floor and it drops two gears thats when it slips. Any ideas?? Im hoping i dont need an overhaul. I dont know the history on the truck. I just got it. But it has 142,000 miles on it? Whats wrong ???
