Default 1st post newbie with a few questions

hello everyone this past saturday after a little haggling i am the proud owner of a 98 ram 1500 extended cab 4x4 for 300.
A couple of questions

1 I have absolutely no heat i have checked a few things i felt the box where the heater core is and its warm but no heat.

2 on the firewall in the engine compartment right where the heater hoes exit the cab there is a vac line that comes out and then tees but both ends of the t's are not hooked to anything.

3 right on top of the tranny tunnel in the cab there is somekind of electronic box with a plug what is it for?

thanks for the help

welcome. hell of a deal for $300. i think i'll take you with me whenever i buy another car.

the vac lines are the heat/ac controls. you should hook them back up. they should all connect back to the side of the intake. under the cowl is a vac reservoir.

floorboard thing is air bag control module.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Dodge Ram! That was one hell of a deal that you made!
Also, welcome to Dodge Forum! Look over the DIY section and the FAQ section at the top of the 2nd Gen Ram page. You will find many repairs and such.
Can't help much with your problems, just being friendly.

I got mine @ 225000 miles for $300.00
I had to spend $3000-$4000 (within 2-3years) to make it work right.
