what would happen if you had 4:10 gears in the back and 3:55 gears in the front and didnt plan on putting ur truck in 4 wheel?

If you did bad news. I have already asked this question. You should really do a complete change over to 4.10's. That one time that you need your 4x4 it will bit you so hard!

What's the POINT in having a 4X4 and it doesn't work. Suck it up and spend 1700 bucks and get 2 new lockers and gears.

The fact that he only wants to change one set of gears tells me that he's not willing to spend a lot.

I would say just get the gear sets both front and rear and forget all about the lockers. If you're willing to never use the 4x4, there's no need to have lockers. Sounds like you're building a mall crawler anyways.

no what happend was all the oil in my rear axle leaked out and it fried everything inside so i put my friends old 4:10 axle in it for now untill i get the money to buy something else but everything should be fine just dont use my 4 wheel right?

alright and its slightly shaking when i accelerate passed 25 but once i let off the gas it stops, what could that be

Could be anything from mud inside your rims, to a shifted belt in your tire, to a missing wheel weight, etc.
