I just purchased the sure cure kit, but I am wondering if I'll have to pull the tranny. My truck will go into reverse and drive but will not move but a few feet. Anyone have this problem? I have read aim4squirrels thread on installing the kit, but I'm not sure if this will cure my problem. Thanks for your time

 

I bought the kit before I was having issues. Sounds like you're beyond preventative maintenance and on to rebuild time.

On the plus side, if you give the Sure Cure kit to the rebuilder, it'll help keep this from happening in the future.

 

the sonnax kit cures design problems but doesn't cure a bad transmission.
I need the kit that cures broken transmissions.
