i just bought it and now the engine is making noise in the top passenger side sounds like the rod. also when i rev on the gas it sounds really bad on the bottom i changed the oil and found metal shavings. any ideas and how hard is it to change the rod.... also i put the oil filter on really tight but oil leaks out of the top is this a common problem? please help

 

If you overtighten an oil filter it distorts the gasket, causing it to leak. As for your other problem, I got nuthin.
