I've had nothing but fun in the desert with my truck. I've never gotten stuck, and never had any vehicle related problems of any sort.

I would have to say 2nd Gen Rams are a horrible base for that though. There is NO aftermarket for these trucks. Almost everything you want you will have to build yourself. If you want something with 234230847628974239746297462934 bolt-ons and custom parts available for, Ranger, F-150, Tacoma. In that order.

When you come out to Mexifornia check to make sure that all mods you have are CARB legal. Especially those headers, smog checks are hell out here, if aint CA legal you will fail the visual and it wont matter if you pass the smog test or not, you will have a certain amount of time to return to stock or CARB legal parts, your exhaust may aslo need to be looked at.

Damn that may kill me , I dont plan on this truck being legal , its not going to be a road vehicle. I plan on after getting the Raptor, that my truck becomes strictly a desert vehicle. Worse comes to worse, ill move to border of CA/Navada or utah or w/e is next to CA , haha.

Remember if it's not registered though you will have to trailer it out. I would hate to trailer a truck through the mountains to the desert.

If it is for OffRoad use only then you can keep that stuff on, I am not sure of the regulations for a green sticker though, or if you need one for a full size vehicle, I would look into it, for when you get out here.
