It's wet because you have a leak, check the fluid level, fill it, then trace the brake lines until you see where it's leaking from. After you fill the MC, have some one in the truck push the pedal while you look .

A leak won't light up the ABS warning. It does not rule one out though. If it's in the wheel well, the sidewall of the tire will be shiny and look like spokes radiating out from the center.

Didn't want to compound the issue right off (assuming it's the front driver side that is wet) , but, it is entirely possible the wet wheel well is a bad axle seal. And the lites are totally unrelated to the wetness, and a bad sensor in the rear end is what is causing the lites. What does it smell like?(the fluid you are seeing) And to confuse things a little more, the rear brakes need to be adjusted once in a while, or you'll start losing pedal.

Proportioning valve ... as in brake proportioning valve? Yes, that would cause you to get a "BRAKE" light but not an "ABS" light. The ABS light automatically triggers a BRAKE light but not the other way around.

First make sure the fittings aren't leaking. If it turns out you really need one, check any of your local parts houses. I checked Rock Auto and didn't see one. Other than that, a yard or dealer. I don't think a pull from a yard would cause problems but someone else might have other knowledge.

After the fix ... you'll need to bleed everything really well as what causes the light is a pressure difference between the two halves of the system.

Just my 2 cents. I checked a while back to see how much a dealer would charge me for the proportioning valve and the parts counter told me IF they do have it, it will cost $250. Then he check his inventory and told me the no one in the NATION carries it anymore. I think thats a load of BS. But none-the-less, it's a stealership only part and cost around $250.
