What is the difference between a truck with a tow packege and one with not.

NHBP - Auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler
NMC - Heavy Duty Engine Cooling


and I believe it might be pre-wired for trailer hook ups.

So basicly, if I put in a tranny cooler and a bigger radiator and highflow water pump then.

Trailer Towing Prep Group --- Class IV hitch receiver, heavy-duty flasher, and 7-lead wiring connector

I guess you could get a radiator from a Cummins or a Ram with the towing package.

too bad it didn't come with these options....

a transmission capable of towing.... TCOT
or rear end gear suitable for towing.... REGSFT
or heavy springs that don't sag.... STDS
or plenum that doesn't leak .... PTDL

Okay, I figgered that was it, but I was not sure if there was a different in the gearing in the tranny or rear end.
