2000 1500 4x4

133,200 original 5.9 and tranny, only thing not original is the k&n, flowmaster, and bilsteins. Has had meticulous maintenance, still starts, runs and drives like new. Brother is a 25 year Chrysler Tech and he really keeps tabs on what the truck needs and when it needs it, plus I get his discount on parts and the labor usually only costs me a dinner.

You take care of it and it will take care of you.

142000. 01 Ram 1500 4x4 sport off-road. Second trany, before axle swap and lift, put 6 rear limited slips in and rebuilt front bearings ball joints and U-joints 3 times. But dont think its the trucks fault. I drive very hard and play alot.

1997 1500 4x4 Original Owner 5.9 176,000 miles No major repairs, just regular maintenance and small, minor problems that always get taken care of as they appear. Very reliable truck, although oil pressure guage doesn't read nearly as high as it once did which scares me.

122,000 on a 5.9, engine and tranny original and it still hauls ***! Just normal wear and tear replacements, brakes, ball-joints (of course) shocks, oh, and a new (rebuilt) gearbox. Got tired of the wandering on 35" tires.

I work with a guy who has a '95 5.2, (all stock) and he has 350,000 on his, 2nd tranny though, still original engine. He lives in the country and he has to drive 45+ miles in any direction to get anywhere! He says the truck has been rock solid and still uses it to pull his horse trailer on occasion when his GMC 3500 breaks down. Of course he keeps up with the scheduled maintenance which is key.
