Default Hughes intake Please help!!!

I have a 2002 1500 5.9, Yes I know it is a third generation but not to many people over there run this engine. Okay so I have the intake installed and I have a hole in the back of the intake that nothing goes into. I have checked all of my before photos and and double checked everything. I cannot find anything that goes in there. The attached photo shows the hole. Please help. If you click on the thumbnail it will enlarge the photo.

That's the IAC sensor. On the kegger intake, it's located on the front passenger side.

No, it's not that. The kit has you put that into the air filter hose. Plus I tried that and the hole was larger then the sensor. Thanks for the input though.

Put a plug in it and see if it runs with no CEL.

What is CEL? Yeah I was going to go to the parts store tomorrow and try to get a plug for it. It is weird there is absolutley nothing back there that would go in there. I even checked the old intake and there is nothing on it either. The hole is in the back behind the TB on the passenger's side.

Oh okay thanks. I'll let you know. You know I am suprised at how easy this install has been I've got about 8 hours into it and I am just about done. I have been working at a decent pace but have had to stop to take care of other things around the house. Anyway it is not a bad install at all. Although I will say that I haven't started it yet do I am not dancing yet. lol

That hole is for vacuum accessories used on other (older) vehicles. Once upon a time, engines had vacuum spark advance and a vacuum signal to the transmission governor. We don't use that on our trucks, so just put a brass NPT plug in it and you're good to go.

Awesome, Thanks Rex-Thedog. Are these brass plugs hard to find or do most part stores carry them?
