Burning exhaust question
Hey I know everyone is probably tired of these exhaust questions but I am going to ask it anyway. I am on a tight budget but need to bring my other mods alive by freeing up the exhaust. Within the next 2 or 3 weeks I am going to change my exhaust from a stock to an aftermarket one. 3 things I need to know:
1. My truck has 57,000 miles on it should I put a straight pipe through the
cat or leave it alone. (It is not bad yet, but who knows when it will be)
2. Should I replace the stock muffler with an aftermarket one or no muffler at
all. I don't want the crackling when you let off the gas like glasspacks!
But I do want an aggressive note. (Single exhaust pipe exiting before the
pass. side tire.)
3. If I use a muffler what would be the best deep aggressive note for
a single exhaust pipe? I have a 5.9.
Any opinions or personal knowledge would be appreciated.
Oh yeah I posted pics of my "Warrior" in my garage take a peek and tell me what you think!
