Cool Burning exhaust question

Hey I know everyone is probably tired of these exhaust questions but I am going to ask it anyway. I am on a tight budget but need to bring my other mods alive by freeing up the exhaust. Within the next 2 or 3 weeks I am going to change my exhaust from a stock to an aftermarket one. 3 things I need to know:

1. My truck has 57,000 miles on it should I put a straight pipe through the
cat or leave it alone. (It is not bad yet, but who knows when it will be)

2. Should I replace the stock muffler with an aftermarket one or no muffler at
all. I don't want the crackling when you let off the gas like glasspacks!
But I do want an aggressive note. (Single exhaust pipe exiting before the
pass. side tire.)

3. If I use a muffler what would be the best deep aggressive note for
a single exhaust pipe? I have a 5.9.

Any opinions or personal knowledge would be appreciated.
Oh yeah I posted pics of my "Warrior" in my garage take a peek and tell me what you think!

Hey thanks Dakotas ram! Do you have o2 sensors before and after where your cat used to be? If so what did you do with them? I have read where you can just use the spark plug nonfouler trick to stop the CEL from coming on.
