Default sct vs superchips 3815

okay here's the deal im lookin at an sct on ebay and a superchips 3815 what i want to ask is which tuner will i benefit most with a high flow drop in intake and a muffler swap horsepower and torque wise

i plan on doing more mods but i want the most power right now

Well you will always benefit more from an SCT tuner. Especially if you plan on modifying your truck down the road. But to an unmodified truck you would still notice a dramatic difference with the superchip.

so can i get like hemifever to write me a tune that will be better than the performance 3815 91 octane tune with the stuff i have done

Yup but just remember. Unless your getting the sct for a few dollars you could pay more in the long run. I was looking used till I talked to hemifever. He sells the sct with custom tune cheaper then it was to buy a used one and have him tune it. Why pay more for used stuff?

i found one for 275 how much does hemifever charge with custom tunes

Custom tunes will always beat package tunes. The Superchips isn't a bad product but its
designed to be a generic flash.

as said the SCT is the way to go, the power increase is incredible, it was worth all the money to me...i think if you bought the used one, and slipped hemifever an extra $100 he will upgrade you to unlimited custom tuning, therefor it would be cheaper that his cheapest package, but im not sure you might have to buy new ones from him THEN if you want to upgrade later to unlimited tunes it will be an extra $100
