Default Help, I have problems with my truck

I am brand new to dodge. I just bought a 2000 quad cab ram 1500. The only issue appeared to be bad bearings. I am second owner, first guy seemed real honest. I replaced the wheel hub assembly. Tried to save some money and purchased from salvage yard. The spindle was dinged up from the previous bearings so I needed to replace the knuckle assembly. Bought the knuckle assembly/spindle from salvage. I went ahead and replaced the upper and lower ball joints, used duralast from advanced auto. I drilled out the factory ribbets and mounted with hardware that came with new ball joints. I did loosen the sway bar but tightened it back up. Now that it is all back together the wheel wobbles, not that bad but I have not driven it faster than 45 mph. I did swap wheels back to front to check to see if the rim was bent and the wobble still exist. Checked it all out and everything is snug and tight. When I lift the front off the ground, there is no movement left to right or up or down, everything seems snug and tight. Still there is wobble though.

Also, any help regarding my AC would be great also. Blows ice cold. But when it got too cold I turned it off. Then the blower would not turn back on at all for about 30 minutes of driving and finally when I turned it on after several other failed attempts, it turned on. So it is intermitten but it works great when it works.

Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks, Jerry

Yeah, I think it is like the death wobble. I don't think it is as severe as what I have seen on youtube. When I drive at slow speeds, around 20 mph and look out my window at my front (driver) wheel, it does appear to wobble slightly and I had my wife drive it down the street while I watched her coming and noticed it wobble midly. Also, when test driving, I did get it up to close to 50 as I was trying to be cautious and it seemed to be doing ok then I hit some bump which caused the wobble to increase and then I just slowed down. Any help is appreciated. I might just take it down to a mechanic and look at an allignment. I am beginning to wonder if the owner did not tell me everything he could have??? I also wonder if one of the salvage yard parts is the problem, such as the wheel hub or knuckle assembly.

Crazy thing is, we got a great deal on this truck at 1275.00 and my young family of 4 could not afford much at this time but desparately needed the truck. Now I am fearing my attempt at saving some money by buying this cheap may end up costing us in the long run. I am trying to limit my costs which is why I am doing my own work.

Did it wobble before you changed the upper and lower joints? If not does aliigment come into the picture?

I would be more inclined to believe its something to do with those salvage parts. Who knows what they came off of unless you pulled them.
