The owners of the place we worked had HD's. They seemed better but not much. He would brag how he had all this money into it and all this work done and about the hp numbers it would put down. Then would go on to the top speed. I almost fell over laughing. He had a ton of money into it and it was still a bike that vibrated horrible, had a ton of money into, handled like crap, and was still slow with low hp numbers.

I'm more of a sport bike man. I have a 04 R1 myself and love it. Not a huge Yamaha man but I love this bike.

If I was to get a cruiser though it would be a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or Suzuki.

Maybe and this is a big maybe a BMW. My uncle has had a few and they seem to have reliability issues too but ride very nicely.

A HD or Buell bike would be on the bottom of my list. The only thing good about them is the sound and that you get to say you have a HD.
lol, I never said anything about liking HD/Buell. They are part of the reason my friend makes a hell of a lot of money working at the dealer
Personally, if I was going to own a bike it would be a Kawasaki Ninja. Not the best, but not the worst. And I dont have to really worry about getting on either. Here in my area, no one has any kind of respect for people on bikes. Also, it I know falling off a bicycle at 15MPH hurts like a bitch, why would I want to do it at 70?

I think the closest I will ever come to owning something like that would be what my nehighbor down the road built..... a trike, with a fully blown 502 motor

Some of you asked for pictures...I bought it today...awesome is all I can say.

Images are large so please go here to view them: http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/l...187/My%20bike/

1997 Kawasaki Vulcan 800cc with Vance Hines exhaust and Rambox intake...supposedly bored out to close to 1000cc but I can't check that currently...err haven't yet.

Let me know what you all think!
